MITACS Globalink Research Internship 2027
The MITACS Globalink Research Internship (GRI) 2027 is a prestigious international research internship in Canada for undergraduate students from eligible countries, including Pakistan. Selected students complete a 12-week research internship at a Canadian university while working with academic researchers.
Eligibility:
Must be enrolled full-time in an undergraduate or combined undergraduate-Master’s program at an eligible Pakistani university
Master’s-only students are not eligible
Must have a minimum 80% cumulative GPA
All academic disciplines are eligible for applicants from Pakistan
Must meet the program’s remaining-study requirements
Must be available for a 12-week consecutive internship between May 1 and October 31, 2027
Must apply to at least 3 and up to 10 research projects across at least 3 Canadian provinces
No English proficiency test is required for applicants from Pakistan

Check that your Pakistani university is on the eligible institutions list.
Review the available research projects.
Select 3–10 projects from at least 3 Canadian provinces.
Prepare your academic documents and other required information.
